The full application process, start to finish
From your first message to us, to holding a signed permit at base camp — here's every checkpoint in between, and roughly how long each one takes.
What actually happens between enquiry and permit
Route & document audit
We confirm your peak or trek, flag exactly which permits apply to your nationality and route, and send a tailored checklist.
Visa filing on the official portal
We walk you through the NADRA e-visa application so the category matches your itinerary from the start.
Documents compiled
Expedition-level and per-traveller paperwork is formatted and cross-checked against GB Council requirements.
Permit packet lodged
Submitted under our licensed operator account directly to the GB Council Secretariat.
Clearance tracking
We follow the file through the relevant departments and chase the Tourism Section directly rather than leaving you to guess at status.
Royalty deposit & permit issuance
Once cleared, we settle royalty and environment fees and collect your signed permit.
Field briefing
We walk you through carrying and presenting the permit at checkpoints along your route.
The mistakes that add weeks to an otherwise simple application
Applying for the wrong visa category
A standard tourist e-visa doesn't cover restricted-zone trekking. Fixing this mid-process can add two to three weeks.
Submitting without a licensed operator
Individual applications aren't accepted by the GB Council — filing must go through a registered operator.
Missing the rescue insurance undertaking
Climbing permits aren't issued without proof of evacuation cover for every member, guide and porter.
Applying too close to departure
Clearance alone runs four to six weeks. Leaving less than eight weeks before travel puts your itinerary at risk.
Process questions we hear most
Expedited handling can shave some time off document preparation, but GB Council clearance itself follows its own timeline and can't be bought faster.
Yes — we can file the permit and visa side even if your trekking or climbing logistics are arranged elsewhere.
We handle resubmission directly with the GB Council, correcting whatever triggered the rejection at no extra filing delay on our end.
