The park is named after the Hingol River, which flows into the Arabian Sea and is teeming with marine life. With six different ecosystems, including desert, plains, forest, and mountains, and a diverse array of bird species, reptiles, and elusive mammals such as leopards, wolves, and ibex, Hingol National Park stands out as one of the most unique national parks in Pakistan and perhaps even in neighboring countries.

Treks to the highway that runs through the park, it is easily accessible, drawing numerous visitors who come to marvel at the rock formations. The entire landscape of the park is adorned with these remarkable and peculiar natural formations, some of which may remind you of the Grand Canyon. Other attractions within the park include the Lion of Baluchistan, resembling a sphinx, and the Hinglaj Temple, a Hindu temple located in a cave.
