RAKAPOSHI BASE CAMP TREK

Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek is a popular trekking route in the Karakorum Range of Pakistan, offering stunning views of the Rakaposhi Peak. Rakaposhi is the 12th highest mountain in the world, standing at 7,788 meters (25,551
feet). The trek to Rakaposhi Base Camp provides an opportunity for adventure enthusiasts to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Karakorum region. The trek starts from the village of Minapin in the Nagar Valley, which is located in Gilgit-Baltistan. The trekking route typically follows the Minapin Glacier. The trail passes through lush green valleys, alpine meadows, and moraines, providing trekkers with a diverse and picturesque landscape. Trekkers may need to cross some streams and negotiate rocky terrain. After Rakaposhi Base camp also called Taghphari, can cross the Glacier/ Kachelly Glacier to Diran Base Camp which is one day of more trekking including crossing the glacier.
