NALTAR- DIATAR TREK

The Naltar-Diatar Pass trek, also known as the Naltar Pass trek, offers a stunning yet challenging journey through Pakistan’s Karakoram range. The trek typically begins with a drive from Gilgit to the scenic Naltar Valley, which is renowned for its dense pine forests, colorful lakes, and diverse wildlife.

Trekkers will cross lush meadows, navigate rugged terrains, and eventually ascend to the Naltar Pass, located at about 4,500 meters, where they can enjoy breathtaking views of peaks such as Shani (5,887 meters) and Rakaposhi in the distance.

The route takes trekkers through picturesque alpine regions and leads into the Daintar Valley, providing a blend of cultural encounters and natural beauty. The trek typically lasts between 5 to 8 days, depending on the chosen route and pace, and includes camping in remote areas under the towering peaks of the Karakoram. This trek is best suited for experienced trekkers, as it involves traversing glaciers, steep paths, and high-altitude passes.
