Nangar Rash Lake Trek

This trek takes you through Hunza and Nagar Valley and up to the Rash Lake. Trekking to Rush Lake in Nagar Valley is a remarkable adventure, offering stunning views of snow-capped peaks, tranquil alpine lakes, and verdant
meadows. Here are the highlights of this unforgettable trek: Rush Lake is situated in the Nagar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the world, including Ultar Sar, Spantik, and Diran. The trek to Rush Lake is moderately challenging and suitable for trekkers with some experience in high-altitude trekking. However, it’s essential to be prepared for steep ascents, rugged terrain, and variable weather conditions. It gives you the view of all the giant peaks of Hunza and remarkably, a distant K-2 (8611m) Broad Peak, Rakaposhi (7788m) Diran Peak (7253m), Golden Peak (7027m), Shispare 7611m and Ultar Peaks. It is possible to climb the Rash Peak (5098m) by ridge behind the Lake.
