HUNZA VALLEY ADVENTURE TOUR
This program is a combination of light adventure (one-day hikes or treks) and visiting the various villages, local traditional houses, historical moments, and meeting with a local population of mountains. You will travel on the Karakorum Highway to Hunza Valley, through Besham, Khoistan, Chilas, and Gilgit, and enjoy the various beautiful sceneries.
HUNZA, the High Mountain Valley in the Karakorum, is located in the extreme north of Pakistan in Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Areas), fortified by the giant mountain ranges of Karakorum, Himalayas, Hindu-Kush, and Pamir through the Wakhan Corridor and further north neighbored by the heavenly mountains of Tianshan and Kunlunsun and historic city of Kashgar. connected from Islamabad (the capital of the country) by road and by air to Gilgit (55-minute flight) then by road to Hunza Valley 2-3hrs drive on Karakorum Highway, which was recently repaired by the Chinese. All the flights to Gilgit from Islamabad is subject to weather conditions. You may also approach from China Tashkurgan-Kashgar via Khunjerab Pass 4733M is another option.
