HUNZA CHERRY BLOSSOM TOUR

  • HUNZA WALLEY is located in the north of Pakistan on the border between China and Afghanistan. For hundreds of years, it was an isolated country ruled by a king or Mir called “THAM”. In the 19th century, the kingdom became a protectorate of the British Indian government. After the partition of India in 1947, Pakistan controlled this area. Pakistan took full control.

HUNZA CHERRY BLOSSOM

  • HUNZA cherry blossom or spring is one of the best and most fun times to visit Karakoram mountain valley HUNZA cherry blossom. In spring, the fruit trees bloom white and the valley floor looks like a white carpet. The roses start with almond trees, then plum trees, cherries, plums, peaches, and pears, giving the roses a nice contrast between the high snow mountains. This fruit is an integral part of the Hunzakutz diet. Plum trees are more common in the Hunza and Nagar valleys. where they are the legendary fruit of the valley and a major source of food in ancient times.

Nagar Valleys

  • Generally, flowering starts in the valley from the end of March to the end of April. It is better to start the trip in the first week of April. HUNZA cherry blossom is a long valley from Gilgit to Khunjerab Pass on a 190 km border with China. Therefore, the flowers start from Gilgit to the northern part of the valley. Almonds first bloom, followed by grapes, apples, and peaches, then plums. Which remain in the valley until the end of May. Hunza is connected to the capital Islamabad through the Karakoram Expressway (KKH) and by air from Gilgit, a 2-hour drive to the Hunza Valley on the KKH.
